1.SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE AGENCY
1.1. E&D Carpet Cleaning operates and is part of the company name of E&D Cleaning Services. E&D Carpet cleaning hereby shall provide carpet cleaning, upholster cleaning rug cleaning or spot removing services as requested by the client.
1.2. E&D Carpet Cleaning will choose the best suitable method and chemicals for each particular job. E&D Carpet Cleaning will not be held liable to clean permanent stains and dirt.
1.3 Visits to property for quotation shall not be charged and are free as such.
2. PAYMENT
2.1. For booking a job in advance at least 50% of the quotation must be paid in advance.
2.2. Upon completion the job the remaining balance must be settled immediately before the machine operatives leave the property for that particular job.
2.3. All prices and quotations are given with 30% discount for balanced settled immediately after the job. Should payment be delayed the discount will no longer apply and the full price will need to be paid.
2.4. Should payment need to be chased further additional expenses will be added for the trouble incurred in chasing the payment.
2.5. Bookings and quotations for which the property was not inspected by an E&D Carpet Cleaning Agency personnel may change once we visit your property due to large room size than standard, dirtier carpets requiring special treatment and requirement for furniture moving.
3. THE CLIENT'S OBLIGATIONS
3.1. The client must make sure that there is access to the property at the appointment time.
3.2. The client must ensure that there is electricity and water supply at the property and for more rapid and effective cleaning hot water as well.
3.3. The client must ensure that the carpets are left to dry and are not walked over and dirtied immediately.
3.4. The client must make sure that he instructs the machine operatives of any specific requests or needs.
4. OBLIGATIONS OF THE AGENCY
4.1. The agency is responsible to provide the services mentioned above.
4.2. The carpet cleaning services must be done up to good standard
5. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
5.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Agency hereby excludes liability, for any loss or damage whatsoever, including breach of contract, breach of any statutory provisions or implied terms, and/or as a result of negligence of the Agency or its employees or agents as well as damage to items and property being worked upon.
6 TERMINATION CARPET, CURTAIN, RUG, UPHOLSTER CLEANING
6.1. We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client's original requirements change.
6.2. All carpet cleaning prices are subject to £70.00 minimum call out charge (upholster cleaning is subject to £50.00 minimum call out charge).
6.3. Clients may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time. Customer agrees to pay 50% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Customer agrees to pay 50% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at customer's premises; or problem with customer's keys. If an initial deposit has been paid to the Agency then the customer agrees that the deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.
6.4. The agency cannot be held responsible for carpet cleaning performance as well as upholster cleaning as we introduce sub-contracts that perform the duties and even though great care will be taken when doing the job no performance guarantee can be given.
6.5 It is the clients responsibility to reed these terms and conditions which are found on our website and given to client when being given a quote or an order. When a booking is made via telephone, website, fax or in person we will assume that the client has read understood and agreed to the terms and conditions regardless of whether hi was given a hard copy.
6.6 If any provision of this Agreement shall be found to be void, invalid or unenforceable, whether by a court of law, agreement of the parties or otherwise, the remainder of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect notwithstanding any such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability but the provision in question will either be amended so as to make it valid, legal and enforceable or, in the event that this is not possible, deleted.
6.7 No delay or failure on the part of the Agency to exercise or enforce any rights or remedies pursuant to the terms of this Agreement shall constitute a waiver of such rights or operate to prejudice the exercise of any such rights at any time thereafter.
6.8 By ordering E & D Cleaning Services by telephone, e-mail, fax or through website(s) the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6.9 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.
6.10 We reserve the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check the website(s) for updates.
